Groundbreaking
Zion Wayside Church & School to celebrate groundbreaking
Zion’s addition and remodeling of its school will begin this spring with a kick-off ceremony and luncheon
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
03/24/2025 - Zion Lutheran Church and School of Wayside is remodeling it’s existing school and in the process adding 3 additional classrooms and a restroom. A groundbreaking ceremony will happen Sunday, April 27, immediately following 9:30am worship at approximately 10:30am at the site of the new construction. Pastors Kyle Wangelin and Jed McClellan will preside over a groundbreaking service before special donors are recognized and thanked, and Keller construction and Zion’s building committees pose for ground-break photos. Following the ground breaking ceremony, lunch will be off ered in the school commons for all who wish to attend. The addition and expansion of Zion Lutheran School will be a great asset in carrying out our mission to equip generations for life in Christ in a greater capacity.
"Going forward with this project means that school children today and in the future, will have a great education and a faith in Christ to support them throughout their lives, to have the strength during the tough times and to continually give thanks for their blessings." - Kevin Collins, Zion Fundraising Committee Chairman.
