Impossible

How many times in your life have you heard the statement, that is impossible? How many times in your life have you thought a situation in your life was impossible. No matter what age you are, whether you are young or old you encountered things that in your mind seem to be impossible. When you were young it might have been finishing all your food at dinner including the vegetables. For me it was sitting still and not talking when I was hunting with my grandfather. As we reached middle school and high school different things occurred in our life that we deemed impossible. These things could of included a test in chemistry or learning how to drive. At the time all these things seemed impossible, but we were able to overcome them. As we enter adult life we encountered a new set of impossible challenges, like having kids, dealing with the words you have cancer, or a death in your family.

Matthew 10:27 says; Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” Another great verse that come to mind is Luke 1:37 which states: for nothing is impossible with God. No matter what phase of your life you are in, no matter how impossible something may seem we need to lean on God’s Word. We need to remember, as much as we think we can fix it on our own or we solve it on our own we can’t. Everything is possible with God because Christ died on the cross and rose victoriously. God is always present in our lives, remember these three simple facts: God is real, he loves you and he wants to spend time with you.

Prayer: Dear God, with you, nothing is impossible. Help me with what feels impossible in my life right now. Give me strength and give me the understanding that you are with me in all things, and you have control. Amen.
